Setback

Why do I keep peeling back the paint? I thought that I was better than this But I guess I’m not as strong as I thought I guess I’m all the things I say I’m not And I know that there’s a way But it looks like it won’t change for anything that I can bring I’m back to where I started from And I must learn how to hold the air in my lungs I’m falling down and it feels like it’s just begun And I must learn how to hold that taste on my tongue I've been giving up it looks like there is nothing Waiting for me in the future and I never understood why I’ve been looking up but all I see is black clouds Looming over my head in what’s left of the grey skies So why fight when everything that feels right is my enemy Why try when all I’m waiting for in the end is to die I’m back to where I started from And I must learn how to hold the air in my lungs In my lungs Show me I’m enough Show me I’m enough I’m enough Pick my head back up Back up Pick my head back up Show me I’m enough You’re enough No matter where you go You’ll always find your way home
