On My Way Right outside out my window I see the sun come out to shine Skies so blue, and trees so green I can't help but feeling fine I wish these days could stay forever Gentle on my mind But change keeps calling me And laying down the bottom line Well I tried hard to ignore it Tried to stay footloose and free But time keeps moving on And this is how it is And how it's gonna be And so I'm going on my way And I'm knowing I can't stay Stuck in neutral that won't play Yes I'm going on my way Even on a sunny day There's a dark cloud standing by In a corner of my mind Out the corner of my eye There's a future up ahead That I know I can't suspend No way to fool myself And there's no way I can pretend No way to slow it down And no way I can transcend Cause life's a one way street From the beginning yeah Right down to the end Off there in the distance I can sense my destiny Takes me ever onward To where I need to be Some days I feel so all alone And it feels I'm flying blind Leaving all I've known For a path I've yet to find
