Sunday Morning, 6 A. M.

Friday evening, the job has been done I'm cruising with my car, I wanna have fun A small drink at the bar beside It's showtime I don't wanna hide A friendly smile and a deep view A Little small talk, an "I like you" And then a call on my telephone The voice of my wife "When are you getting home?" This is the time I start to wonder why I have a wife, 3 kids, 2 cats I wanna cry Seems to be better, to stay alone With a coffee and some cigarettes and The telephone Sunday morning, 6 a.m Sun is shining bright, I don't know who I am Two hours ago I fell into my bed "It's all over now" Were the last words, I said "It's time to stand up, To have fun" my son says, "come play with me, let's start a run" "It's time to stay in bed", I wanna shout "It's all over now" He cries loud This is the time I start to wonder why I have a wife, 3 kids, 2 cats I wanna cry Seems to be better, to stay alone With a coffee and some cigarettes and The telephone I don't like dogs, cause they need a dog-sitter I don't like birds, because of their twitter So we've got cats, a black and a white I like them mostly At daylight They are independent, They are free They have a strong personality But at 3 a.m., when they scratch at my door I don't like them Anymore This is the time I start to wonder why I have a wife, 3 kids, 2 cats I wanna cry Seems to be better, to stay alone With a coffee and some cigarettes and The telephone And if someone asks me "Do you wanna change?"
