Someone told me that I would never be a star Motivation is something I'm lacking but I will move on From this world of disappointment that want me gone There's a new world out there I want to explore Someone told me I could never reach my goals Told me I was nothing and no one at all Pushed me of my happiness into a dark, dark place But they will never bring me down, I'll be ok So let's star this journey of meaning meaningless adventures Of constant victory and frustration And don't let yourself push down, stay above and on the ground Cause you are a star shining through the darkness You'll stay on top; I know you'll make it happen Don't stay where you are, fight for what you desire If you seek it you will be everything that you admire Tell them you're brave through your actions and your triumph And may your life be everything that you aspire I'm not going to lie it's difficult and sure, it's tiring But if you really want it sweat it till you're high Tell them you're not going to stop until you're there Cause if you're not even trying, you might as well be dead!
