Eight long arms it stares right through I freeze for a moment 'cause the fear don't wanna move I take a step back and start to run I knew this wasn't real but I could see the rising flood I'm gonna have to wake myself from this nightmare That was always gonna be my fucking curse Pick myself up from that hole that will be my end if I fucking give up now There's no escape from the shadows cast The tomb I'm encased in that's buried deep In the confines of my mind and soul There's nowhere to run and I feel so fucking helpless Chasing through this landscape I see no easy way To break free from this curse that has been bestowed on me It takes the slightest thing and I'm stuck back there again If only I controlled the demons that live within I don't know the reasons why the day or even time Or why this fucking happens when I'm living my best life I think I'm gong strong and I'm gonna win this time But then this goddamn eight armed beast will choke me from the inside There's no escape from the shadows cast The tomb I'm encased in that's buried deep In the confines of my mind and soul There's nowhere to run and I feel so fucking helpless
