From the Heart

Its good to give thanks sometimes Everybody like to be thanked Shoutout to all the doctors and the nurses And all essential frontline workers I appreciate ya time and ya service God aint bring us this far to desert us I just wanna thank yall for havin patience and courage Life aint easy but its damn well worth it This is from the heart we lost a lot of lives this year I'm tired of tryin to hide these tears man this is from the heart Yea deep in my soul I do this for the homeless guy sleep in the cold I do this for the housekeepers and STNAs Workin through the pandemic and aint never got a raise I do this for them truckers on the road with them loads And every Walmart worker stocking shelves at the store I do this for every barber and beautician in the hood We goin through some bad times but they keep us lookin good This is for the single moms who cry they self to sleep Providin for the kids still strivin for that degree I pray for our elders bed ridden and ill I mean this from the heart through faith you will heal We all fightin battles like cancer addiction Mental health issues layoffs evictions I do this for the families that's grievin Seeing they loved ones leave em Im on my knees praying God receive em Shoutout to all the doctors and the nurses And all essential frontline workers I appreciate ya time and ya service God aint bring us this far to desert us I just wanna thank yall for havin patience and courage Life aint easy but its damn sure worth it This is from the heart we lost a lot of lives this year Im tired of tryin to hide these tears man this is from the heart Yea deep in my soul I do this for the homies on the yard and in the hole Whether you doin life or comin home on parole We all make mistakes learn from em and then grow I do this for the youngsters who feel like its no hope Whos daddy done got killed or they mamas is on dope I just pray you never give up chest out chin up Against all odds you fall down you better get up Its a war goin on outside no one is safe from A bad result beat a good excuse just dont make none I do this for the haters that dont wanna see us great huh A dummy cant play smart but if you smart you can play dumb Read the twenty first law of power and understand that It aint how high you can fly but where you land at and you aint gotta ask for respect but demand that All my black queens and kings where yall hands at Shoutout to all the doctors and the nurses And all essential frontline workers I appreciate ya time and ya service God aint bring us this far to desert us I just wanna thank yall
