At 12, we started seeing bodies By 15, we got used to hearing about them I mean death keep happening how I'm supposed to react I found a nigga I grew up with died on the citizen app Type of living is that Last time all my friends was alive Chance was still doing tabs Told my nigga don't be tougher then next Cause pride and fear have niggas do things that you can't expect I mean Done seen niggas die young The city do them bad Never been too tough I know a lame nigga would shoot your ass We can't be angry at God The more I live The more I know that this world a facade Anyway We can go any day The mindset of being paid is man made You live forever through how you made them feel Cause the flesh can't be saved Well just that's how I justify these days I never been the one to cause a scene Too much esteem In a whip that's Squeaky clean Even the seats look green F*ck do you mean Look in my face and see pain in my eyes Some of the time Should of been hate if you learned the demise of some of my guys Learned be safe before we learned our goodbyes What's filling a safe when you trying to survive Ain't know about savings But we know say in situations that could help us save our lives.
