He walks in silence He walks alone He feels its absence As the air rips through his bones He turns towards it He looks away Lost in answers Though the questions still remain Staring and believing that it all will end this way Trying while deceiving forcing squeezing those who play Tortured standing withered As he's pulled on through the rain Wind obscured a vision hoping He will end this pain He'll lend a hand He sees the distance He feels the waves In careless dreaming But still fading with the day He wants to grasp it To feel its pain The airs so calm now As he spins around again Clutching close inflicted staring blankly at the sky sky Turning slowly inward vain attempts at reasons why Burning with disillusion and desire just to see Hopeless in acceptance that he's there to only be He'll lend a hand He sways so slowly He falls on knees The blood of others Willing hoping just to please He shouts at nothing He screams again Lost cries of anguish Swallowed silent by the rain Deception through creation causing faith in disbelief Steadfast in opinions to be lost in gorgeous grief Tears replacing answers falling dripping through his hands Sand and waves fly crashing splitting reasons not to stand He'll lend a hand He'll lend a hand And all who touch me And all who see me And all who heal me May my secrets ever keep And all who know me And all who need me And all who spite me May they never understand And those who kiss me And those who catch me And those who kill me May the never feel it deep And those who hear me And those who want me And those who soothe me May they never question why
