We're at the crossing of the generations Ancients complacent Afraid of change and age as they're arranging replacements And I can't help but feel my younger years were wasted with patience The future can't exist unless you trust us to make it So we go, you're on the road I've climbed this mountain but the stones aren't set You might think I'm a legend but I've done nothing yet And I hope this isn't something that we'll grow to regret You might think I'm a legend but I haven't made it yet Now if the problem is us younger kids have dreams that are broken Allow mistakes, the risks you take can fade grey to golden So though I'm not content yet don't you dare think I would miss this I'll take a breath of fresh air knowing I can go the distance You're on the road It's over go home
