Now In the silence of my room, I stay lost in my thought Trying to recall, how the f*ck I caught a Thot Resurrected memories from the time gone past, I'm digging up the pieces back when my heart smashed. The Days turned to mouths and the seasons done come, Yet the wound remains raw from battle never won Every day and every night, I'm reminiscing 'bout you. Hoping to recover but there ain't no breakthrough. Yeah I know it's been a while. I miss your smile and your style. I just had another dream I'm walking with you down the aisle. Love is really blind. It ain't got no eyes, So l pop another Xan to unwind and ease the mind. I wander through these streets alone, scrolling on My phone, Your ghost trails behind my mind as if it stays known. I gotta get a grip I can't be soft in all this drip, I can't allow myself to slip, even though I'm not equipped. Though we were stuck up in a rut, I never thought you'd give me up, But when you broke my heart I started sipping double cups. The Memories that reside are like stars up in the sky, They Illuminate my dreams, even though you held a lie. There's a solace in the air, despite the chains of your despair & Looking back doesn't necessarily mean I care.
