That Day

That day was like any other The rain came down, down, down It rained on the head And it has to be said I was wetter than a wet thing that's wet That day was like any other As I walked down, down Through the town And the cars went By splashing my eyes I made wet water sounds, feeling down Lightning strikes in the sky tonight The world lights up in the night And all I can see as I walk Through these streets Is a light which is blinding my sight My sight! A light which is blinding my sight Yet that day was like any other And the water ran rivers over ground That feeling I had, a feeling so bad No sunshine could help with this frown But was that day really like any other? As the rain poured down on my crown I felt so much better, a little bit wetter But really was this a breakdown? Lightning strikes in the sky tonight The world lights up in the night And all I can see as I walk Through these streets Is a light which is blinding my sight My sight!
