Dancing in the Wild

Floating on a dream, I'm perceiving from the mirror gleam Then I feel a call resonating through my walls And all that enters me is a manifested memory And all that I recall is the sound of our footfalls As we moved as one Through the fire on the rock and up amongst the stars The heavens smiled upon us as we whiled away the hours When we moved as one No no no you don't know what it was like you don't know I felt the magic of that fateful night And no no no you don't know the feeling of that night though I felt the presence of my inner child While dancing in the wild Still as still can be captivated by her melody Pulses from inside cause our spirits to collide, Into singularity, we become each others energy Bridging the divide gave the power to take flight and so we flew as one Through the fire on the rock and up amongst the stars And matter didn't matter as time crumbled into dust When we moved as one No no no you don't know the graceful move of her flow Or when I was the subject of her smile No no no you don't know the feeling of that night though I felt as if I really were a child Just dancing in the wild, dancing in the wild But then you had to go though and that knowledge left me hollow Such a bitter pill to swallow and in sorrow did I wallow No no no no no no no please don't go, please don't go I love you so I cried out bawling awfully like a child Caught dancing in the wild
