I know What I need to be And I know What I need to see And what I need to keep Yeah I gotta reach Because If they looked into my heart They’d be as scared as me Sickening Yeah the dark clouds I gotta get em off of me Violence striking once or twice Piercing through my thoughts And mind Should be held accountable Sometime But I feel as if I’ve done no wrong It can’t be good for my soul Cause I’ll never Know How to control And put my emotions on hold Affected friends Affected family My own selfishness Has caught ahold of me Gripping tightly Pulling me beneath I’m too caught up in myself It’s like I’m pulling teeth But I’m scared of the future I feel like History repeats But if it comes back to greet I feel that’s how it’s gotta be Cause the past can grip you The past can rip you Sometimes Too hard To slip through But you gotta Change the play too And run it up another way Chip at your life day to day Trust me it’s experience That everybody Feels the same But they are too afraid Too scared of say What they need to say What’s on their mind They think we can’t relate But one time to do right Is all it takes Get your muthafuckin Mind out the mud And be someone That can have a purpose To keep pressin on! Don’t let nobody say you’re wrong The critics Don’t even know their Place in this So where to they belong?
