Activists and Advocates Interlude

You know activists, we don't stop We are driven by the desire to advocate for the better We lament not on what we don't like We pursue the good in what we do like So we create homes out of our houses Mend bridges and create new ones Solve with novelty over replication Hold on tight to inherit dedication We don't stop, unless we find something alternative to advocate Then it's less of a stop, and more of a transition or an appropriation for the intersectionality What do you advocate Empathy, Inclusion, Diversity, Equality, for example Or Greed, Superficiality Do you broaden out your scope As you realize the beauty in plurality Or do you narrow your sight As you extend your complacency The inevitability of nature and fallacy of controlling nature may make you advocate for resistance or resiliency to control the outcomes of natural processes Where resiliency can actually mean the ability to move with changes, to appropriate or reappropriate your thinking based on the ways nature naturally moves Activists don't stop, so what are you trying to stop Don't stop when you are stopped; keep moving, keep changing, and keep your mind broad to realize the beauty in the complexities all around us
