Happy Place

I don't feel like myself anymore Strangers come and go but they just end up walking out the door And I know I know I can't complain But it's so hard when I feel this way I hope that maybe you'll understand Not that I can't find my place Cuz I'm still so young but I'm stuck in my ways And I've lost my friends And I've lived my life And I'm miles ahead But I feel so wasted No I can't wake up I can't wake up I can't wake up I can't wake up I was warned when I was just a kid Don't go messing about or you'll end up like this Well here I am I took a chance I executed every part of the plan But I'm still unhappy What does that say? I mean I've gotten everything that I've prayed for Not that I can't find my place Cuz I'm still so young but I'm stuck in my ways And I've lost my friends And I've lived my life And I'm miles ahead But I feel so wasted No I can't wake up I can't wake up I can't wake up I can't wake up One day I'll wake up and say "Oh wow everything is really great" But until that look is on my face I'll be searching for my happy place
