Thoughts

There's a common theme In these pretty things And they're not so real As they always seem It pulls you in to a sense of hope Just to crush your soul when you need it most I can't wake up In the morning sun Just to think about What I haven't done Every breath turns to a sigh I have no choice but I can't decide Where am I Going in this life? I have a path But I'm walking blind And of course I know That I have a guide But that doesn't show me That my steps are right If life's a ledge Then I'm hanging off Well I'm hanging on Because I'm scared to stop But when sun shines through the clouds I'll pull myself up and stand on the ground
