Kindergarten Kids

When I saw you sitting there Finger paint all in your hair That's the moment that I knew My life had led me to you Kindergarten kids are cool Couldn't wait to go to school Finally I had found a friend We'd be together til the end I wish we could go back there Back to that simpler time I wish we were just kindergarten kids Playing outside And we didn't have to say Goodbye First and second grade were fun Third through fifth is a blur We're done Elementary school was gone My life kept going on and on Middle school I made new friends Then I lost them in the end Why did I grow up so fast?
