The Wide Woods

Something's blooming in the field Like a foreign tree In these walls I've built And nobody told me That these woods I'm in Are the reason of how I feel Every way seems so dark Will I step back? What's the price to pay? Follow folks cause of weakness Withstand judgement Or be left for my opinions Ever since I fell In this machine changing senses I'm lost Discovering thousand waste Mostly things I regret Seems my demons take over my brightest parts Testing limits to know myself But then wake up and feel ashamed Try to stand with Friday night kisses I'm scared In the mirror I stare at me Am I really the one I see Having fun or pretending to be loved? Who am I? Who am I? I change my look just to please them all I feel insecure Cause the networks steal your soul I can hardly carry Questions on my mind Cause the answers give no sign Building bridges on my path Choices grow hard Destiny helds by a thread Where will I go? Where will I laugh? They said reality is in your heart But so many factors outside Got myself locked in the field Like a butterfly Soon ready to fly
