A shadow creeps across the barren land A chilling wind whispers through the sand Twisted trees reach out with gnarled claws Beneath a sky where no sunlight dawns Footsteps echo in the silent night As a creature unseen takes flight A quiet giant, protector of old Watching the forest, with secrets untold In the thickest woodlands, they stay out of sight Thickened trees mask their ten-foot height People hide in the woods, and they're trying to watch When they see one they'll proclaim: Behold the sasquatch In the heart of this darkness, a power resides A creature of legend, where fear never hides A dense fog rolls in, the bigfoot rolls out Concealing views is what it's all about It's hard to find these legends so grand For the bigfoot hunters, they're in high demand If a real one is caught, the world would be impressed Hordes would descend upon the Pacific Northwest But the people looking continue to botch No one's had a chance to say "Behold the sasquatch!"
