Woke this morning, grabbed my phone, gotta see what's going down Endless scrolling, memes and trends, another cat video going around Someone's eating cereal, another workout routine Hashtag blessed, hashtag goals, this social media scene I saw it on social media, now it's stuck in my head Boring posts and crazy stunts, someone's gonna wind up dead Sometimes I question why I choose to be on here, though If you want my honest answer, I guess I really don't know Scrolling through the feed, another endless stream Perfectly posed selfies, living the online dream Jumping out of planes, chugging gallons down Just another day in this social media town Just got home from work, I gotta see what's going on Endless feed of pictures, gotta check where everyone's gone Someone's eating supper, calling it a "foodstagram", yawn Another influencer hawking products, streaming from the john I saw it on social media, now it's stuck in my head Boring posts and crazy stunts, someone's gonna wind up dead Sometimes I question why I choose to be on here, though If you want my honest answer, I guess I really don't know Crazy challenges going around making too many die The amount of participation makes you wonder why Bullying and harassment is thriving way too much With people using fake accounts and such I saw it on social media I saw it on social media, now it's stuck in my head Boring posts and crazy stunts, someone's gonna wind up dead Sometimes I question why I choose to be on here, though If you want my honest answer, I guess I really don't know As much as I don't like it, this thing will never end Because it's the only way I can chat with my friends
