The holy houses on the beach The surf wax and the bare feet Gin and juice was playing loud Along with all my favorite childhood songs The dart it flew The aim was true When I laid my eyes upon you But holy shit I ruined it Broke out in hives And I think I spit On your face While I was saying something lame Like I know everything But I don't know anything I use too much toilet paper And too much toothpaste Wandering around this crummy town It's a constant reminder of all my doubts Go get drunk at the local bar Get thrown out for stripping down And thinking I'm a prophet in my hometown Just a bumbling fool With nothing but drool But holy f*ck Just my luck My bike broke down with my face in the ground But I couldn't feel any pain at all Well thank god for alcohol And I thought that if I had a family I wouldn't feel the urgency To just get up and leave And disappear completely And I guess that life's a mess But I never was good at cleaning I always had a maid for that
