Your head a trapezing artist it Bounces and bends at the Sight of the flooding of crickets their Eating away at all who disobey them Their flapping of wings sings a song deafening They stood no chance with the mandibles snapping at youth and the elders The fields have run dry but they consume like an omnivorous tide Hide and seal all the holes Because tonight They're feasting on all who do not understand the fear they impose Hide Hide They follow only their one and only leader The mother housing all is beckoning for us to fall Screaming at the top of her lungs Just hoping for a son that listeners To end the suffering we force upon her We won't stand a chance if we were dealt our own hand The flesh-eating taste of the medicine we pump out each day Will manifest in a storm dedicated to eradicate us all Run It will only push the time on our clock
