Heaven's high walls keep me silent They are ignorant of life's need A longing for knowledge Held back To caress its words forbidden But use them for prayer I must If only for those We hold dear As I drown in their tears Prevailing despair No light in these dark tombs No light inside this heart Do my prayers go unheard?
