Beacon of Fire in an Age of Ice

Stories told in ages past Of a vast pit that fell down From a great mountain in fire and smoke That poured on a people in a time beyond memory Once Llao dwelled in the clouds up high A chief of the above world Who fell to his anger in fury Fallen in demise To where no one could witness his terrible nature Hail you beacon arise over this age of ice May Skell rain you down into lake Our children shall not live to speak of our names Forgotten to long distant age And years shall pass The waters shall rise Up to cradle Llao's head As a battle rains down We look to the sky It's painted a blood dress of red Two holy men offered to below world Protect us A people from time beyond memory Our maker of crater A bringer of water Ever ask us of gatherings Our giver of life Hail you beacon arise over this age of ice May Skell rain you down into lake Our children shall not live to speak of our names Forgotten to long distant age A beast called a God with a love for a woman Who would wed him not of a wife So in battle he caused the earth to tremble To roads between darkness and light These two Gods of man faced each in a battle For one who would fall to the deep And Skell crushed him down to sink into waters Under skies beginning to weep And years shall pass The waters shall rise Up to cradle Llao's head As a battle rains down We look to the sky It's painted a blood dress of red
