Wake up its still there Another day My mind cannot bear With this cerebral tumor Constantly at my back Malignant it attacks Every facet of life Its knife Constantly against my throat I don't think I'll ever really know True peace in my heart True stillness in my mind Can you help me find me? It's dark and no one in here can see A fear permeates the air and no one would dare to move All afraid to lose it all Oh, what is happening? Does anyone in here care? They all stare forward Like awaiting a command from a dictator I need to leave, I need to run But I know I fucking can't! So I rant and I rave about the passage of days With all of us in a haze We're all entertained and ashamed in the way That we gaze at the green paper glaze! Yeah it's a little bullshit, don't you think? Doing dishes for hours watch your sanity go down that sink While I sink into A darker state of mind This state of mine It's fucking slime Locking kids up for petty crimes Robbed of their future More so than the rest it is oh so damn futile Why even bother when the rest is a wreck?
