The Howler

There's a black hole in the sky With blue around the rim And I watch it every night before I sleep To make sure it don't get bigger And that it won't come out I know my heart can't take those type of dreams If you're raging Against a dying light unseen Til the howler comes Til the howler comes If you're dying From a rage that's so unclean Til the howler comes Til the howler comes Even now my eyes are blurry But their lids refuse to close As I hear the echos bouncing off my skull Can't keep this up much longer The colors by the door Can't creep past the threshold til I sleep
