Doomed & Blessed

Well I don't really see you, but I know that you are there You might catch my eye a time or two, but you'll never get a stare Like looking through a window To see which way the wind blows I'm interested but I don't really care Well I can't really hear you but I'll nod my head and smile You might get a little something out of me every once in a while But most of the time I daydream About all the things today won't bring I'm not alone, it's just that lonesome is my style Well I can't really taste it, but I'll eat it nonetheless I'll stuff it down until I'm wasted, tell the truth and then digress I have but one philosophy There's nothing in which to believe I'm human and I'm doomed by that, I guess I'm human and I'm doomed like all the rest I'm human, I'm doomed as I am blessed
