There was a man who was rotten inside He had three boys whom he despised And he said sons come here and listen to me My father told me this and now I'm passing on the deed Follow your dreams Pursue your goals Let them take you far Far away from me He locked the door and he laughed through the glass ha ha ha The first boy he was drawn to the sea He craved the salt of discovery He fought the storms and he braved the winds He took some risks but he always wins Kept his eyes on the ocean Mast pointed towards the sky The second boy he just wanted to clime He scaled all the trees but his thoughts benign He wanted to go to the very top To the highest point to the tallest rock Kept his eyes on the mountain Visions towards the sky Eyes at sea New kinds of misery The youngest boy he was so depressed He didn't accomplish anything much less get dressed He missed his family and dwelled on the past Misfortune followed him cause he welcomed the guest With eyes wide open He watched a life pass by
