Resting Happy Face

A friend told me today I have resting happy face "You smile all the time, any hour, any place" It makes them feel at peace "Oh, it's good, it's good!", they say My friend says I have resting happy face I wonder if they think That I'm always doing great I seem to be just fine But that's not always the case Won't ever bring it up I just don't think I'm that way But I wonder if they think that I'm okay Sometimes the way you feel Ain't the way you look And though you seem so well You're misunderstood And if you feel this way Know that seasons always change So why not wear a resting happy face? When I look in the mirror I don't see a happy face I see all my mistakes And the sins that I have chased But I know I can learn To be better every day That's why I wear this resting happy face
