Most of the time my skies are bright and blue Most of the time I hardly think of you But then sometimes when the clouds cover up the sun And the rain comes pouring down I come undone That's what happens when I'm caught out in the rain My eyes start filling up with you and me again And as those raindrops keep falling They uncover all the pain That's what happens when I'm caught out in the rain On a dark December day you finally said goodbye You never could explain any real reason why And I just stood there in the storm and watched you disappear Matching every raindrop with my tears That's what happens when I'm caught out in the rain These tears start leaking out and sneaking down my face I try to hide it and fight it but I still can't stop the pain That's what happens when I'm caught out in the rain
