Rough roads I have traveled wrong turns I have made Been broke down in the sunshine and left out in the rain My old Chevy pick up felt every bump along the way But ever since we met I've got to say You're like riding in a Cadillac floating on a cloud Turning up the radio singing out loud Doesn't matter where we go we go hand-in-hand As long as I am right there where you are It's like riding in a Cadillac car When I was a kid my grandma had an 87 coupe Deville Never felt a smoother ride and I guess I never will When I got in that backseat I'd just drift away And dream about that life I'd have one day
