Mama helped us decorate the Christmas tree Daddy's done stringing the lights We can't wait to hear those sleigh bells ringing tonight Tomorrow's the day Santa Claus is on his way I'm looking up there at that starry sky And I don't see a sign Of any reindeer sleigh bringing presents of mine Santa better hurry he's running out of time Santa why are you taking so long Oh Santa why are you taking so long I'm getting worried you won't make it For the break of dawn Daddy went to get some cigarettes That was about eight hours ago Mama's in the bedroom crying why I don't know Maybe daddy and Santa got stuck in the snow
