Twisted Towers

Behold absolute power Reigning from my twisted towers As the Wind howls through bastions tall I stand upon them over all you Weaklings as you cower Beneath my yoke of power You shall toil Day and night to raise These towers higher Glory to your King above you tears and blood are your due An evil writhes inside my mind Constricting walls that crush and bind Your wives, your bairns are sworn To me, your lord highborn I can hear the madness calling me In my mind The lust for power cries It's screaming out to me right through the darkness Madness crawls Over castle walls I stand upon the ramparts of My twisted towers tall I lay claim to all you know And I shall reap what You hath sewn Cruelty has taken me Within its grasp No turning back I'm wallowing within this keep A spirit lost in darkness deep Tendrils of baleful will Escape my soul To breach the sill To taint the very stones That loom above my throne Blasted black Now the towers crack They're Shifting shape They wind and snake Into forms unknown Mocking flesh and bone The crenellations are weeping crimson tears As walls tumble down Paranoia is clawing within me Tearing down every stone that surrounds me They're crashing down In my mind The lust for power cries It's screaming out to me right through the darkness Madness crawls Over castle walls I crumble with the ruins as the Twisted towers fall I see you, I hear you, crying out For freedom, for mercy, masses shout Defying, Denying, Twisted towers fall
