A Couple of Questions

Ill have an early death To pair with a late lunch that I forgot to set You said you were in debt That you cashed out all of your cards to watch my last sun set See my horizon fade in the ocean Watch the light sink down like a shooting star But you could pick me up from work As long as I didn't ask about what we are So can we talk about something else? Something with answers or definiteness? I know you don't like thinking of ghosts Only reminds you that one day we'll all be dirt It isn't just that you don't like people watching But you're afraid that they're no different from you That all the shit they go through Is something that eventually you're gonna deal with too Maybe our ancestors were on to something When they got scared into creating the gods To answer all their questions At least the ones that they had answers to which they were at odds Like what happens post death Whether or not we stop existing in a broader sense So what happens post death? Do you know if we'll still exist here in a different sense?
