If you don't mind the timing, I wish I could go back to the times we would never say no to each other Everything that we could ask for was in the eyes of one another We were the fire of the gods You could never put us out Everything we did was beautiful The stars aligned, the nights we shared together weren't always filled with doubt About the future between us and everything we could need was just a phone call away But everything fell apart, our fate was written in the stars on that awful day I paced around my room for hours on end, the silence in the air was only broken by my patience wearing thin What if everything I had done up to this point was in vain?
