Out in the badlands Long distance walk Solving the conundrum Of the day-night arc Shaping the mountains Moving the sea Forming every puddle Provoking you and me What do we do With the world at our hands If only we'd reach it while we can You're driving the hammer Till you salivate venom And dancing to every drop Cities of concrete That violate the sea And Styrofoam feelings In a life on our knees They're hiding their faces With a claim to the right Running on silver And making people fight Bloom my third eye Voice of the soul Rub the ash on your palms Speak to me clearly Of distant horizons Casting a shadow And sleeping with the sun Can we survive With the world in our heads Dying the same as we do?
