It was a nice, hot, summer day Just hanging, drinking, speaking to my friend I thought I heard somebody say "What a day, I wish that it would end" I didn't mind at first, what could I do? Didn't want to make a big mistake Though I never heard a voice so blue I could understand that it's about a heart ache I turn around and look around me I see your face and lose my mind Got so lost, I was trying To say some words that now I can't find There were some words that came out I can't remember exactly what I said You asked me laughing: "Are you alright?"
