I want to be like Peter Pan And runoff to never land Cause I have memories of adventures on the sand But those days are far past And they didn't really last But of course I have that inner child But I need to keep him mild Or else my problems Well they will run wild and ramped This truth is like ripping off a bandage I have a job interview must land it Time to play just can it Don't you get it I didn't get to be a kid I had to close that lid The world is unfair And somehow I happen to care Now please prepare to watch and stare As it wears,and tears me away
