A little controversy goes a long ways Learned a lot of lessons in the dog days I'm taking time for myself I can't complain Rain is just a measurement of life's gains Been doin a lot of thinkin Hope I make it through So far I've been sticking to the plan it's been the mood One thing at a time this flood will not pursue But this down pour can make you think it's true That's why I always have a way of thinkin Make it easy It's so freeing always dreaming Major healing you should feel it Take time away from struggle On the double strength is subtle Where theres no trouble Maybe someday I will fall in love With myself it'll be because I took time away To fix myself today Maybe someday I will fall in love With myself it'll be because I took time away But this time it will be okay Okay I'm talking to myself again Problems that I can't mend I struggle off in them Often times I find myself in pity power trip The shower hits the rain is overwhelming when it's flooding in But we try to find the sun behind the clouds I wanna bathe in it right now Man oh man lol I wanna bathe in it right now For now I just imagine What it's like to have a mansion Somewhere warm but that's the plan I guess I have much to worry The futures seeming extra blurry Way too cold in January Controversy Maybe someday I will fall in love With myself it'll be because I took time away To fix myself today Maybe someday I will fall in love With myself it'll be because I took time away But this time it will be okay
