With the mouth of a pig and the mind of a snake Slither through your swill to a nameless grave To the vacuum of Gods yawning maw agape Dirt fills the trench like the hole in your face We had our day Swallow the body of Christ as he swallows your name Ignore our DNA segregated from apes The last great disciple of the human race But we will never learn that way No thoughts of tomorrow when decisions are made In a place where prayers go unanswered today Just rhetorical questions used as bait Another pawn in the game One more martyr to trespass against Practice nightly though entitled tales Cynicism in Perpetual cliches There wont be handshakes we usually exchange Just the crack of the whip that marks your skin The welts on your back read like braille By the ardent hands raised in praise cut the head of politicians afraid of change Infiltrate the common house on election day Put yourself on the cross instead of him And make our suffering great again
