BURNING OUT I'm tired of being done and I'm done with being tired I have nothing to drive my energy and I have no energy no drive Is working for someone this hard all there is I doubt it as it's hardly working Is the American dream what it use to be or Maybe I need to think bigger by dreaming the American way Is working for someone this hard all there is I doubt it as it's hardly working Is the American dream what it use to be or Maybe I need to think bigger by dreaming the American way I don't want any freebies, But I want to be free and live The burning inside me is to be great and Yet the burning I show outside is stress fear and comfort Is there any light to save my candle or Is this all turning out to be just melted wax
