I rushed towards the end without knowing Of what I would find there at all In between all the stumbles I found her And at times I believed all I thought I had found I took much more time than I should have As I wasted away in the black In the distance a voice there was screaming Would there be too much time to come back Here I am closing these pages As I look past the pain of it all And the last lines have finally found me I'm closing this book as the pages fall out of it all The best and the worst comes from loving So much more than the truth it all It's hard to hold on as it all slips away We all take our chances before it all falls When everyone tells us we're losing Sometimes all we can see is what was I wished I had learned this some time before now There is no going back we just live with it all
