Don't make it harder than it needs to be It's just so plain to see, that's it already hard enough Maybe the cure lies in your attitude Well it's the very best part of you But a good one is hard to trust Some say the Path of Life Is a crooked road to nowhere But I believe that something wondrous lies ahead Sometimes my soul cries out in desperation But I might find strength along the way Each life demands its private destiny It's not always clear to see Yet it unfolds soon enough So many wander through so aimlessly Lost souls in agony Looking for an easy out Some say the Path of Life Is a crooked road to nowhere But I believe that something wondrous lies ahead Sometimes my soul cries out in desperation But I might find strength along the way So easy to hide behind the motion Staring out at the shadows as the world goes by Bad habits can raise a head to haunt you In the depths of your soul where the wounds won't heal No place to hide On the surface a quiet man looks within To hear the voices screaming out inside of him Listen hard to find the right direction And try to catch up with his own private destiny Each life is born with a reason But desperation keeps it all a mystery I hope we all find the strength to unravel it Write it all down, keep a page for our memory
