Once there were rivers, clear and wide, Forests stretched to the mountainside. Skies so blue, the stars shined bright, Now they fade in city lights. But we need more, just one more, More land, more gold, more oil to pour. Dig it deep, cut it down, Who cares if the trees don't make a sound? One more, just one more, Take what we can, leave nothing in store. We say we'll stop, we swear we care, But money talks, and the earth's still there... For now. Oceans once were blue and free, Now they choke on plastic seas. Mountains high and glaciers cold, Melting fast for liquid gold. But we need more, just one more, More fish, more space, more ships offshore. Poisoned air, burning land, We take and take with both our hands.
