I just sitting here on Sunday morning drinking coffee ain’t got nuthin’ ta do You know, “I sitting here on Sunday morning drinking coffee ain’t no church am I goin’ to” Cause if is Peace you think your selling I think your spellin’ isn’t true You tell me Jesus loves me, I don’t care even if he paid my bills? You said that Jesus loves I said but will he pay my bills? Don’t want to give 10 percent so you can find your thrills I tried to do it your way but tongues they keep wagging all the time Just this last week I tried to go in Sunday but gossip screwed it one more time They showed me love and grace was as real as the box of a mime Till you got me in your chamber alone to tell me I’ been sinnin’ bad You pulled me off into your office to tell me I’d been bad But it wasn’t my redemption it was my lovein’ that you had You pulled me up real close and asked me, “Brother can you feel the love?” You got down on yo’ knees and said, “brother I can feel your love!” But it wasn’t the grace of God you gave me when you went down from above That’s why I’s just sitting here on Sunday morning drinking coffee ain’t got nothin’ to I said, “I sitting here on Sunday morning drinking coffee ain’t no church am I goin’ to” Cause if it Peace you think your selling me I think your spellin’ just ain’t true!
