Orange Brown

I noticed when in lockdown A hidden lifetime of neglect The grime built-up in corners That until now I did not detect Spraying, scraping and rinsing it away I decided that the mould must not exist another day So I pondered had I absconded This thought it slowly starts to pester: What else have I left to fester? As the scum began to run There would be very few amongst us That would call this cleansing fun It gets you down that orange brown Why did I wait and start so late Just let the guck accumulate?
