Falling Short

Been waiting For so long For someone To answer My call for love But lately I wonder Will that ever happen at all When I'm hanging Out with my friends I'll be lying to myself Thinking that I'm happy here Alone with no one else But I get nervous And tongue tied The words don't seem to form Still I'll stand by And try to give my all If I'm not So caught up over things I analyse, I overthink So used to being all up in my thoughts Don't wanna waste an opportunity But when the time comes i guarantee That I'll mess up and end up falling short Cause I've loved and I've lost And I've often wondered What happened and where did I go wrong? Well I've hurt and I've cried What seems like a million times How much longer must this go on?
