Room to Grow

Now that winter has fled the scene we can roll up our sleeves Trees are shedding their white snowy coats and revealing their fresh green leaves Now were out of the dark days, and seeing light We can melt all our worries in the sun We can finally have fun! Dig a little deeper, sewing something better, tend the earth to make it last Caring for eachother, each decision matters, mend the damage of the past Nows the time when a scheme that is tired can rebrand itself anew Holding out for a time was required but in time you have to pay whats due Ive been counting the days til I might reunite with all my friends Get outside for a ride Or go for a run We can finally have fun! Plant a little seedling love it into being make it bloom and make it count With some perserverance, comes a reapearrance, see the fruits of life amount When the mulch is all you see, trust the earths fertility Beneath the surface its maturing soon emerging as a new life There might be drouts or gloomy days, but mother nature has her ways Pull out the weeds that you dont need Your thoughts are seeds This is a metaphor Quack quack quack Spring is back! Hear nature sing Grow a little wild keep your inner child Feed the squirrels No not with my hotdog!
