The Thief The thief has come And broke into my world With the aim to wreck Me down and steel my soul All this evil Is clear in your big eyes I feel helpless not wanting to be tried Go where the darkness leads eternity Go where the sun melts down to die Kneel at the edge of the burning sea And with a solemn prayer your life in cries rewind Favor the honest not the lying kind Walk with the poorest in the hardest times Give hope to people living in vanity For your soul to rest in peace till the end of time When age has passed You'll be buried in a shroud No fancy cask Just a cheap and clean white cloth With no weepers You'll be lost in passing time And your memory Is saddening and denied
