And here we rise Above the moonlit sky We pass the sun To reach to worlds beyond The empty cosmos Is full of living dust The chance for life Is surely inevitable We will meet our equal in the universe Who might understand our spoken tongue They could even be tall and smarter And give us wisdom light and beyond Let's take a leap into the vast milky space Cross the stars and learn about a different sun Who may know what's hidden deeper in its dust It would surely be adventurous and fun Or route is far And fairly dangerous No air to breathe Or crust to live on top Yet it is worth it If we could find new life The odds are countless And open to be explored
